Hi, I'm O.K.!

I'm a cartoonist, illustrator, and educator. In Spring of 2024, I graduated from The Center for Cartoon Studies. I am currently querying my middle grade graphic novel, Moonbug Summer.

I write graphic novels for middle grade and young adult audiences. I am particularly passionate about outreach, appearances, and educational settings where art and literacy can be shared.

I grew up in Michigan, where I grew up surrounded by librarians, teachers, and (luckily) parents who handed me books left and right. I spent summers writing stories and nights reading under the covers by flashlight. I was particularly influenced by Raina Telgemeier's "Smile" as a kid, and later on as a teen, "Nimona" by N.D. Stevens. Once my mom got a PhD in Children's Literature, the books never stopped coming, and i never stopped reading. I now live in Vermont with a cat named Goose and the squirrels living in my apartment walls. When not drawing, I can be found watching Steven Universe, playing old Star Wars video games, or tending to my tiny little porch garden.
